I started in Real Estate sales November 26, 2018, after spending 30 years in residential construction. Long story short, the human body can build for so long, before it starts to break down. With Buyers, I am happy to explain possible renovation, or remodeling possibilities, and give you an idea on pricing.  Real Estate was such a natural fit for me, because It allows me to use mostly my mind, and give my body time to repair. I will continue to build, but on a much smaller scale. It's like the mafia, once you're in it, you're in it for life! I promise, Construction will always take a back sit to Real Estate Sales. After my first year as a Realtor, I was one of four agents from First Weber, that was awarded Rookie of the Year. New agents eligible for this award, consisted of a 100 mile radius, from Minocqua. I also was awarded the Bronze medallion for sales, among all agents in our Region, and a Third Award for Receiving all 5 star reviews. I guess I'm most proud of the 5 star review award, as it's filled out by the people who's lives are impacted from the sale, or the purchase of their home, in most cases it's their dream, you're helping them achieve. 

I would like to share my most recent closing survey, as it touched me quite a bit, because it was from an 84 year old woman, who reminded me of my mom who passed in 2019. 

"I appreciated the fact that when I would call Jerry, he would pick up and talk to me about my concerns. If he wasn't able to take the call, and I went to voicemail, he would call me back promptly. I was also impressed that he took the initiative to contact me to list with him. We previously had the property on the market a couple of years ago with another real estate agency and it didn't get many inquiries or a single offer. Jerry knew that it was going to be a good year to sell (seller's market) and convinced us to get our listing active, and he worked up a free comparative market analysis. One setback right after we decided to put the property up for sale is that there was an incorrect lien on the property. Jerry sorted that out for us with little effort on our part. I was very pleased with the final outcome, we received the amount that we were hoping to get for the sale price. We were glad to see that the process only took five months from start to finish. The closing process was very simple and quick. Also, at one point in the summer, Jerry arranged to have the grounds mowed, & even paid, to help give it more curb appeal for future showings, as we are out of town in Illinois. My son-in-law Mark, also had great things to say about Jerry as he was the main contact." Jerry was very prompt with text messages and information/feedback throughout the entire process. It was great to work with a realtor with a very extensive home construction background when it came to fixing some of the flaws of the cabin. Jerry understood what type of time, money, effort could get top asking price and where our family should concentrate efforts to make the property more marketable. All in all, we have nothing but positive comments about our experience with Jerry Garrou, and highly recommend him to anyone listing, or buying.
