If only the walls could talk! Originally built in 1917 on 79 acre Long Lake as the high end Long Lake Resort. Later the porch was enclosed and a dance hall/bar added on. 1975 the Bruch family turned it into the infamous Thirsty Bear Pub. The original building is old but solid and offers a spacious living area of 4 bedrooms and 2 full baths and great lake views and original wood floors throughout ready to be refinished. They recently decided to close the bar but the license can be purchased back from the town and with approval opened again. It would also make a great B&B or vacation rental. The land consists of 4 lots with 4 acres w/approx. 700’ of lake frontage that with approval could divided into many lots. The building sits on the south lot high above the lake for the most spectacular view. The land levels out for easy lake access for swimming and docking boats and lots of landscaping done. The Kempster area is home to the best trails and 100’s of lakes within just a few miles.

I have enjoyed a lifelong connection to Wisconsin's Northwoods. My family purchased a summer home on the Three Lakes Chain of Lakes in 1968, and we subsequently spent 33 wonderful years there on the shores of Little Fork Lake. I was born and raised on the Southwest Side of Chicago, and grew up around the family funeral business. It was there that I learned invaluable life lessons about what it means to be an excellent listener, treating people with care, and dedicating myself to a standard of "Professionalism Unsurpassed". In 1987, I left Chicago to become a permanent resident of the Northwoods. I earned my Bachelor's Degree in 1992 from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh.
One of the most rewarding aspects of being a Realtor for me is helping buyers realize a dream of owning a Northwoods vacation home, as this experience changed my own life path immeasurably. I also embrace any opportunity to help newcomers acclimate to the area. I specialize in waterfront properties, off-water residential homes, vacant land, and condominiums. My service area includes all of Vilas and Oneida Counties, including the communities of Rhinelander, Eagle River, Lake Tomahawk, St. Germain, Three Lakes, Land O Lakes, and Minocqua, among many others. I also service Lincoln and Langlade Counties. My hobbies include cooking, entertaining, music, camping, boating, and target shooting. I am a supporter of the Children's Miracle Network, NATH (Northwoods Alliance for Temporary Housing), many military and veteran's groups, area Humane Societies, am a member of the Rhinelander Woman's Club, and a volunteer for the Rhinelander Food Pantry.
I look forward to assisting buyers and sellers and dedicate myself to a mission of "Professionalism Unsurpassed".
